Cameras We Install
Our choice of camera is usually balanced against application of surrounding areas and quality required to maintain good resolution of desired field of view.
Typically we will assess where the camera will be used and decide the best position and type of camera to ensure a cost effective solution. Every camera on the market will be priced according to the level of features available.

A camera such as the one above (left) may also provide night time video by incorporating infrared illuminators such as the example on the right. A typical image would look similar to the example below. On the left, although outside is a daytime shot. On the right you can see the same image during the night illuminated by infrared. As you can see, a lot of the detail still remains and allows you to see a large portion of the garden.

Infra Red is a form of invisible light. It is the exact same form of light which travels from you TV remote to control to the channels on your TV. Our cameras are sensitive to infrared and produce an image from the reflected light in the scenery.
More Sophisticated Cameras
Sophisticated cameras such as some of the Samsung or Panasonic range are able to amplify the very small amount of light available using complex digital signal processing.
They use clever mathematics to slow the shutter time and gather more light without compromising image quality. The result can be very impressive and is getting better as they continually improve the technology.
As you can see in the images above. Working from the left to the right we have 3 different shots of the same scene using difference camera technology.
LEFT : Standard day camera without DSP or Infra red at midnight
MIDDLE : Camera with 500w halogen lamp to illuminate the area at midnight
RIGHT : Samsung DSP with no halogen or infrared lighting
at midnight
As you can see, the DSP electronics do a very good job of holding a clear image right to the back of the garden although produce more of a grainy image than an infrared camera.
We can also supply fully Functional cameras or PTZ as they are commonly known. PTZ stands for PAN, TILT, ZOOM and allows the cameras to move about its location to capture and zoom into specific area's. The Camera Featured in the video above has the ability to track moving objects such as the person you see moving around this car park. These are just some of the Technologys be provide at Security-Systems-Uk
Video Footage examples
We have also added video footage from our systems to give you a perfect example of the image quality both during the night and day. 3 short video clips have been taken using a recorder set in motion detect at D1 (704*576) resolution and 25 frames per second. You will agree they produce very good results that you too would acheive on you own Home or office.
